The first Mustangs descended from Iberian horses brought to Mexico and Florida. Most of these horses were of Andalusian, Arabian and Barb ancestry. Some of these horses escaped or were stolen by Native Americans, and rapidly spread throughout western North America.

The Grand Canyon is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide and attains a depth of over a mile. Before European immigration, the area was inhabited by Native Americans.

The Grand Canyon is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide and attains a depth of over a mile. Before European immigration, the area was inhabited by Native Americans who built settlements within the canyon and its many caves. The Pueblo people considered the Grand Canyon ("Ongtupqa" in Hopi language) a holy site and made pilgrimages to it.
